Borwick Tavern
Directions:
Arriving in Newtown from either the South (A489) or East (A483) you come to a busy roundabout with a McDonald’s as shown. Turn North over the river and then take the first right (signposted B4568: Bettws Cedewain and Llanllwchairan). Passing a Costcutter and then the Waggon and Horses pub on your right you enter Tan-Y-Craig. Take the next right turn (signposted “Nature Reserve”) just after a church. Follow this road round to the left, passing Craigwen House, and take the next farm track on the left diagonally uphill. This track is unmarked and unpaved, but has a small disused quarry on the left where it leaves the road and a ruined barn more or less opposite. After 50 yards you will see a turning on the left: this is site 1, with parking directly ahead. Alternatively, continue up the farm track for half a mile and take the next left turn. Site 2 is now on your right, however turn left away from the site, up a hill and right at the top into the parking area. For those using sat-nav the Waggon and Horses is at SY16 2JB.
You will need to bring your own bedding and cooking/eating utensils
