Tower Location: These three known Towers are located in the north-western corner of Orin Rakatha though it is known that the Kalid have two other Towers whose locations are not widely known.
Summary: Powerful, numerous, multifaceted fascist empire ever expanding through the absorption of others.
Notes: The Kalid are the largest and possibly the most powerful people of Orin Rakatha. Large numbers of low ranking Kalid compete for a place in one of the elite ‘Legions’, causing encounters with these Kalid to be frequently aggressive.
Each Legion has its own distinct nature and organisation examples being the Crimson Feast (bloodthirsty lycanthropes), Valdemar (organised soldiers), Earthwarp (harsh users of ‘natural’ power), Doth Loadass (poisoners and hepathologists) and Children of the Brood (animal masters). With these groups being of varying sizes and several others also known to exist it is uncertain the full extent of the Kalid.
Unfortunately relationships with the Valley have always been hostile and at one time the two nations were firmly at war. During the tensions with the Dymwan, and the subsequent war, the Kalid and the Valley people put aside their differences to fight the common foe of the Dymwan, although occasional combat with the Kalid was still known to occur. Since the end of the Dymwan war, encounters with the Kalid once again become tense, although no declaration of war has been announced and the struggle has become more subtle.
