13. Tombs of the Dymwan
Tower Location: Located in the south-west of Dragur Forest, close to the Central Isle.
Summary: Secretive, skulking Necromancers who hoard forbidden lore.
Notes: Descended from the Aldonar race, this tower is the centre of all Necromancy on Orin Rakatha.
Several years ago the Dymwan threatened to dominate the whole of the land when vast armies of undead were gathered using a device called the Dark Wind to turn hordelings into undead. They held a number of Towers and it seemed that they were almost unstoppable. This was known as the Dawn of the Dead War and a great alliance of most of the other Towers fought and finally defeated them. During this time some of the the Ancient Laws were re-instated and Undead were no able to count towards the status required to hold a Tower. This combined with a temporary disruption of the ability to control undead was their downfall.
The Tower now is much less active, with many members killed. They now have reverted to their old ways as an exclusive school for those who want to know the forbidden ways.
The Dymwan now have a second Tower called the Catacombs of Asherai, not much is know about this Tower.
Their leader is Kranium Doomwraith ex of our Wolfhold Tower, now known as Lord Cardinaris. After directly embodying part of the Plane of the Sleepless Dead into himself he is reputed to be the most powerful individual on the plane.

Activity level: Infrequently seen following their defeat in the Dawn of the Dead War.
