Caradac
Caradac Fire-Apple, son of Caradoc "The Black" Fire-Apple, comes from an established Valley family. Caradac was supposed to be named after his father but a mistake by the White Path priest who performed the ceremony put paid to that. Caradac now has a younger brother who shares his father's name as a sister, Mahjouli.
Although principally farmers (fruit farmers mostly, making cider and the apple brandy that gave them their name) the Fire-Apple's have a tradition of service, originally to the Village but now continuing to the Valley. At any one time at least one member of the family enters service, usually with the Seekers.
Caradac joined the Seekers when his father retired from them. There are three main reasons why Caradac has taken Caradoc's place. Partly it is because he was fired up by the tales of daring deeds, glory won and honour gained which he has been brought up. Partly it is because he was an indifferent farmer. But mostly, he strives to give a little something back as a thanks to the Heroes, Guildleaders and adventurers who have kept the Valley people from harm.
Kitted out with his fathers black outfit and sword, Caradac has started his career in the Seekers.
Caradac has made a good start to his career, discovering that all is not exactly as his father described. Caradac. He is driven by an overwhelming desire to perform as well as he believes his father did before him. He is puzzled that no one knows his father is and also confused by some of the practical advice he was not given by Caradoc, such as the wearing of colours outside the Towers.
